Working in the lab is always challenging and you have to overcome many obstacles every day. The main concerns to address include the balance between integrity and turnaround time, as well as that between cost effectiveness and quality assurance. Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) & Platelet (PLT) are among the most commonly ordered tests. ESR is known to be a traditional test to assess inflammation in the body. Running the ESR test with a manual method is tedious and time consuming. How can we simplify the workflow while achieving accurate results? PLT counting is known to be the most often used method to monitor or diagnose conditions that cause too much bleeding or clotting. So is there any method to get reliable PLT analysis results without any extra cost?
