More than 300 Mindray employees in Europe joined hand in
hand with local healthcare professionals and partners to
provide medical and technical support for the local health
department, foreign affairs department and medical

Shoulder the Responsibility of Combating COVID-19
Faced with the raging pandemic, Mindray has provided medical
devices urgently needed by the front-liners. During the
pandemic, Mindray received medical equipment orders from over
100 countries around the world. ?
The Italian
health authority made an emergent procurement of nearly 10,000
monitors and ventilators, for which we established a program
and completed the delivery and installation of the first batch
of devices within 15 days, including over 5,000 monitors and
more than 400 ventilators; we also provided over 8,000
monitors for British hospitals; we received an emergent
procurement of about 3,000 medical devices from Brazil,
including ventilators, monitors and ultrasound devices…

Since 2010, Mindray has donated urgently needed medical
devices to Indonesia, Serbia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand,
North Korea, Nepal, Pakistan, Kenya, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and
other countries.
By donating medical devices, offering technical training and
other humanitarian help, Mindray demonstrates its
determination in fulfilling its social responsibilities and in
enabling healthcare to be accessible to all using technology.
Build the Image of Chinese Healthcare
To increase the influence of Chinese healthcare, Mindray
launched the “Asian Medical Center” in Shanghai together with
Zhongshan Hospital. Besides, Mindray also assisted Chinese
hospitals in introducing pediatric liver transplantation
technology and services to Indonesia and Malaysia.It also
cooperates with top-notch medical institutions in China to
strengthen the academic competency of Chinese medical
researchers.
Mindray also cooperates with Mayo Clinic and the
Johns Hopkins Hospital to establish a global academic
communication platform, in an effort to facilitate exchanges
between clinical experts in different countries, such as
sharing views on cutting-edge clinical projects and R&D
results.

Charity, Education and Post-Disaster Reconstruction - Bring Care to More People
Over the years, Mindray has participated in charitable programs,
provided medical training, supported volunteer medical
consultations, and offered cross-border medical assistance
together with non-profit medical institutions.
Mindray has long been an active contributor to education. It has
donated funds to build primary schools and libraries in many
places and set up education funds and scholarships.
Whenever a disaster strikes, Mindray is always on the frontline
of disaster relief and demonstrates a strong sense of social

Devoted to Charity to Send Care to More People
In Africa, Mindray has long been cooperating with hospitals
and women’s organizations in Kenya and South Sudan. In Poland,
Mindray cooperates with the Great Orchestra of Christmas
Charity (GOCC), the largest NGO in Poland, to provide
charitable help to children and infants. In Vietnam, Mindray
works with the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) to
provide free-of-charge training to local doctors and give
volunteer medical consultations to local villages. In North
America, Mindray has been a longstanding supporter of
Operation Smile to provide more free treatment opportunities
to children having a cleft lip and/or a cleft palate, cephalic
and/or facial malformations from poor families in developing
countries.
To introduce ultrasound technology to remote
regions, Mindray has been partnering with associations and
local hospitals in offering free ultrasound training to
doctors and providing portable ultrasound system. Currently,
Mindray has fully expanded its presence in Kenya, Sudan,
Zimbabwe, Nigeria, India, Brazil, etc.

Enable Good Education Accessible to More People
Good healthcare is fundamental to the well-being of society. Good education shares the same importance. Mindray has sponsored many Hope Schools across the country, which provide support to disadvantaged rural communities with inadequate or remote school facilities. Besides, Mindray has set an education fund to provide donations and scholarships, so children from low-income families can also receive proper education.

Undertaking a mission of “advancing medical technologies to
make healthcare more accessible”, Mindray has been fully

Mindray responded immediately to SARS, Wenchuan earthquake,
Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami, and earthquake in Yushu
and Ya’an. It donated urgently needed medical equipment and
other relief supplies to the distressed areas and stood
together with the locals to get through the hard times.
Promoting Public Rescue
Mindray AED Ready to Safeguard Every Heart Beat
Each year, about 544,000 people in China die of sudden cardiac
arrest according to the “2016 Report on Cardiovascular Diseases
in China” published by the National Center for Cardiovascular
Diseases. And 90% of the cases occur outside hospitals,
resulting in a survival rate of less than 1%. This is why it is
important for public spaces to be equipped with Automated
External Defibrillators (AEDs).
? As China’s first CFDA-certified AED, Mindray AED broke through
many technological restrictions and managed to be launched in
major cities around the world, in an effort to help guarantee
public health.
In recent years, Mindray has made targeted donations to work
together with industry experts and associations to promote the
Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) program; it has also
cooperated with global non-profit organizations and training
agencies to take an active part in “World Heart Day” activities,
so as to increase the public awareness of first aid and improve
people’s first aid skills.
